Fantastic Features from One Creative Weekend #14

I love Thursdays because I get to spotlight you!  Once again, I am amazed by the talent all over blog land. Here are my top 3 favorite projects OCW #14:

This Giraffe Canvas from The Quick Journey makes me wish I had a nursery to decorate!  I think the whole design would work for a boy or a girl, so you wouldn’t have to redecorate for every child.  If you wanted a wide canvas instead of a tall one, the possibilities are endless . . . just pick an animal!  How about dino legs for a boy’s room?

I think this message from Second Chance to Dream is perfect for bloggers.  It is so easy for us to see someone’s fantastic blog life and compare it to our real life.  We forget that blogs often only show the good days.  We can’t see the messy house and frazzled mom behind the cute pictures.  Wouldn’t it be nice to see what it’s really like inside everyone’s home?  I think we’d find that they look a lot like ours most days.

This is the second I Spy Quilt I have featured.  Can you tell that I absolutely love this idea?  This quilt by The Crafty Mummy is beautiful and entertaining.  It would make a great emergency blanket.  I think we forget that kids need to be entertained during emergencies.  This might comfort them in more ways than one!

Thanks so much to everyone who linked up to One Creative Weekend #14.  I’ll be adding more features to my Facebook page throughout the day.  I can’t wait to see what you all link up tomorrow!
