Get ready for November with these silly Thanksgiving lunchbox jokes. My daughters like lunchbox jokes so much that I'm trying to create enough to last the whole school year. If you want to collect them, too, you'll find them here: Back to School Lunchbox Jokes 1, 2, 3; Halloween Lunchbox Jokes; Valentine's Day Lunchbox Jokes.

    Thanksgiving Lunchbox Jokes for Kids

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner? We finally picked out Halloween costumes, and now it's time to start thinking about Thanksgiving dinner! Fortunately, I'm not hosting Thanksgiving this year, so I can focus on the fun stuff -- like these cute Thanksgiving jokes.

I just know my kids are going to love these. How about yours? Are your children into jokes? The days of my kids bringing home knock-knock joke books are over, but we still love to laugh, so jokes never get old.

Okay -- the knock-knock joke where you keep saying, "Knock, knock." "Who's there?" "Banana." and then you repeat it over and over until you say, "Orange you glad I didn't say banana?" That one gets old. If you haven't heard it, let me know and I'll put the whole joke in the comments.

These Thanksgiving lunchbox jokes are much cooler than the banana knock-knock joke. I promise! Today I'm sharing five jokes, but if you head over to my Etsy store, you'll find enough to put one in your kid's lunch all month long (22 total jokes).

And, yes, it is perfectly legal to slip a lunchbox joke somewhere other than a lunchbox. Slip them into your child's backpack, his reading book, or even in the pocket of her jeans!

To download your free lunchbox jokes, click on the download link below. I like to print mine on cardstock, cut them out, and then laminate them so I can use them every year.

If you prefer to print yours at a photo shop (like Walmart or Costco) to save your color ink, I've got you covered. In addition to the pdf files, you'll find 4x6 jpf files (2 jokes to a page) in my Etsy store as well. Choose which printing option is best for you. (I love the rich colors you get when you print on photo paper, but I also love the convenience of printing from home. Please note that colors do tend to darken when you print; particularly when you print on photo paper.

Click on the link below to pop over to my Etsy shop to find all 22 Thanksgiving lunchbox jokes. (You might find some other cool things you like over there, too.)

Need more jokes? I combined all of my jokes from here and Etsy into one giant Mega Pack with 22o jokes! It includes 22 new jokes only included in the Mega Pack. Find it here.

I've created a video and a list of products to show you the best way to use your printables. Check them out below. (The video is based on my valentine lunchbox jokes, but it's the same concept for all of the jokes.)

What's your favorite thing about November? Did your family do anything special to celebrate the holiday? Did your mom do anything to make your lunch special? Let me know in the comments!

The joke cards are such a brilliant idea to add to your children's school lunch. I can imagine the surprise of finding them and then reading them out loud to their friends. :)

Congrats on your pregnancy, Carina. It will be a little while before you get to use ideas like these, but the time will fly! I wish I had a newborn again. (To snuggle--not to wake up with in the middle of the night!)

What a fun idea! I feel like a total slacker when it comes to my kids lunches. I'm not creative at all when it comes to that.

Hi, Heather. There's no such thing as a slacker mom! We all have our areas where we shine and our areas where we do less or (in the case of these lunchbox jokes) copy things that other moms do. There are so many things I wish I did better!

My boys make there own lunches so I don't usually add any notes. I might just try this idea of a joke though.

You're so lucky that your boys make their own lunches, Tara! Good for you for training them. Making lunches is one of my least favorite activities each day. I really need to train my kids to do it themselves.

Sure. Here goes: KNOCK, KNOCK. Who’s there? BANANA. Banana, who? BANANA BANANA. KNOCK, KNOCK. Who’s there? BANANA. Banana, who? BANANA BANANA. KNOCK, KNOCK. Who’s there? BANANA. Banana, who? BANANA BANANA. Repeat that several times — that’s why it can get annoying — then finish with this . . .) KNOCK, KNOCK. Who’s there? ORANGE. Orange, who? ORANGE YOU GLAD I DIDNT SAY BANANA? 😊😂

These are adorable. If I did something like this for my kids,I think I would be dubbed the cool mom. Either that, or my kids will pretend to be embarrassed, but secretly love them.
