Get ready for November with these silly Thanksgiving lunchbox jokes. My daughters like lunchbox jokes so much that I'm trying to create enough to last the whole school year. If you want to collect them, too, you'll find them here: Back to School Lunchbox Jokes 1, 2, 3; Halloween Lunchbox Jokes; Valentine's Day Lunchbox Jokes.
Thanksgiving Lunchbox Jokes for Kids
Can you believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner? We finally picked out Halloween costumes, and now it's time to start thinking about Thanksgiving dinner! Fortunately, I'm not hosting Thanksgiving this year, so I can focus on the fun stuff -- like these cute Thanksgiving jokes.

I just know my kids are going to love these. How about yours? Are your children into jokes? The days of my kids bringing home knock-knock joke books are over, but we still love to laugh, so jokes never get old.
Okay -- the knock-knock joke where you keep saying, "Knock, knock." "Who's there?" "Banana." and then you repeat it over and over until you say, "Orange you glad I didn't say banana?" That one gets old. If you haven't heard it, let me know and I'll put the whole joke in the comments.
These Thanksgiving lunchbox jokes are much cooler than the banana knock-knock joke. I promise! Today I'm sharing five jokes, but if you head over to my Etsy store, you'll find enough to put one in your kid's lunch all month long (24 total jokes).
And, yes, it is perfectly legal to slip a lunchbox joke somewhere other than a lunchbox. Slip them into your child's backpack, his reading book, or even in the pocket of her jeans!
To download your free lunchbox jokes, click on the download link below. I like to print mine on cardstock, cut them out, and then laminate them so I can use them yearly.
If you prefer to print yours at a photo shop (like Walmart or Costco) to save your color ink, or if you'd like to print the jokes on nametag labels and use them as stickers, I've got you covered. In addition to the pdf files, you'll find 4x6 jpf files (2 jokes to a page) and a new sticker format for 24 Thanksgiving lunchbox jokes in my Etsy store. Choose which printing option is best for you. (I love the rich colors you get when you print on photo paper, but I also love the convenience of printing from home. Please note that colors do tend to darken when you print; particularly when you print on photo paper.
Click on the link below to pop over to my Etsy shop to find all 24 Thanksgiving lunchbox jokes. (You might find some other cool things you like over there, too.)
Need more jokes? I combined all of my jokes from here and Etsy into one giant Mega Pack with 232 jokes! It includes 22 new jokes only included in the Mega Pack. Find it here.
I've created a video and a list of products to show you the best way to use your printables. Check them out below. (The video is based on my Valentine lunchbox jokes, but it's the same concept for all of the jokes.)
What's your favorite thing about November? Did your family do anything special to celebrate the holiday? Did your mom do anything to make your lunch special? Let me know in the comments!
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you love your Thanksgiving lunchbox jokes. Be sure to stick around and explore to find more fun things for yourself and your family.

These are such cute ideas of things to pop into lunchboxes around Thanksgiving time! Definitely going to be fun for kids to find when they open up their bag!

These are awesome ideas. Makes your kids lunches a little more special.
Joan
These look like so much fun, my boy still doesn't understand about jokes but I will be checking them out, I also can't believe Thanksgiving is around the corner, the year is gone in a flash.
Thuy
These are such cute Thanksgiving themed ideas! I have younger siblings in middle school who would love to get a few jokes packed with their lunches
Latte Lindsay
These look so cute! We don't do Thanksgiving in the UK but I like the sound of the other jokes that you have :)
Carina
These are TOO CUTE! can't wait until my little one is born to share these memories with him 💕
Heidi
Congrats on your pregnancy, Carina. It will be a little while before you get to use ideas like these, but the time will fly! I wish I had a newborn again. (To snuggle--not to wake up with in the middle of the night!)
Stephanie
I wish I could pack my office lunches with these jokes! 😂 they're so cute!
Brittany
These are so much fun! I love the notes. OMG the bingo is the COOLEST. Loooooooooove. I can't wait until Thanskgiving!!!
Heather
What a fun idea! I feel like a total slacker when it comes to my kids lunches. I'm not creative at all when it comes to that.
Heidi
Hi, Heather. There's no such thing as a slacker mom! We all have our areas where we shine and our areas where we do less or (in the case of these lunchbox jokes) copy things that other moms do. There are so many things I wish I did better!
Tara Pittman
My boys make there own lunches so I don't usually add any notes. I might just try this idea of a joke though.
Heidi
You're so lucky that your boys make their own lunches, Tara! Good for you for training them. Making lunches is one of my least favorite activities each day. I really need to train my kids to do it themselves.
Echo
Oh my, these are adorable! My kids love a good joke! I need to look at your Halloween ones too!
Heidi
Thanks, Echo. I hope you like the Halloween jokes, too.

These are so cute. The jokes are really funny. I have always wanted to try this. But my son can't read yet 😅. Hopefully next year I can add these little add-ons.
Heidi
It might be a few years before your son can read these jokes. Good thing we have pinterest so we can save ideas for later!
Dalene Ekirapa
Isn't it always nice to grab a snack while laughing to such funny jokes? I'm certain I too will appreciate such lunch boxes.
The Beauty flicks
These are cute ideas. I have not heard that knock knock joke.... Can you please tell me the full joke.
Heidi
Sure. Here goes: KNOCK, KNOCK. Who’s there? BANANA. Banana, who? BANANA BANANA. KNOCK, KNOCK. Who’s there? BANANA. Banana, who? BANANA BANANA. KNOCK, KNOCK. Who’s there? BANANA. Banana, who? BANANA BANANA. Repeat that several times — that’s why it can get annoying — then finish with this . . .) KNOCK, KNOCK. Who’s there? ORANGE. Orange, who? ORANGE YOU GLAD I DIDNT SAY BANANA? 😊😂

These are adorable. If I did something like this for my kids,I think I would be dubbed the cool mom. Either that, or my kids will pretend to be embarrassed, but secretly love them.
Heidi
Thanks. Whether they love them in secret or publicly, you're still the cool mom!
Princess Quinn
Love all these fun ideas! I will definitely use the lunch box jokes. I need a bunch and prepare it this early. Yay!
