Happy New Year and welcome 2015! It's been a year of growth on One Creative Mommy. We went from 94,000 monthly page views in January to over a million monthly page views in December! Thank you, everyone for making it such a great year. To celebrate, I'm sharing my top party ideas and crafts of 2014. (You may notice a definite "Frozen" trend.)
Top Crafts and Party Ideas of 2014
#1 Top Post: Olaf Sock Snowman Tutorial
Since this is my most popular tutorial ever, I have to share a few fun facts:
- This post was viewed over 1 million times in 2014!
- According to the comments and emails I've received, in addition to tons of Frozen birthday parties, these adorable Olafs have been created by kindergarten, 2nd and 4th grade classes, library story groups, scout and guide groups, and have decorated Santa's chair and acted as "Elves."
- The coolest email I got about this project was pictures from Sarah, who did this project for a Kids' Christmas Craft Night in Nicaragua.
Sock Olaf is famous all over the world!

Thanks, Nina. It was really fun to see people actually trying one of my ideas. I think that's the best compliment a blogger can get!

Frozen was big in our home this past year as well...and I can see it continuing on into this year. I love the Harry Potter invitations! I can't wait until my kiddos are old enough to get into Harry Potter! So fun!
