I love sending my kids a joke in their school lunch every day. If you're new to reading my blog, you might not know that I'm on a quest to create lunchbox jokes for every school day. I'm more than half-way there. These St. Patrick's Day lunchbox jokes take me all the way through March. Just two or three months left to go. (If you've missed any, follow this link to see them all.)
I can't decide whether to create jokes for June and July or not. Most schools are out, but some kids have year-round school. If you want jokes for June and July, be sure to let me know in the comments!
Before we get to the download, aren't these the cutest lunchboxes on Amazon? Unfortunately, my kids have outgrown cutesy stuff. That's too bad, because their mom hasn't! I'm sure my 17-year-old would just love to take the unicorn lunchbox to school every day! (Or not.) I wonder if I would have had the courage to happily stand out like that when I was in high school. Did you?
Whether kids choose to stand out or blend in, I think they all appreciate knowing that someone cares about them. Lunchbox jokes are my way of showing my kids that I care. I know you want to show your kids you care, too, so today I'm giving you five free St. Patrick's Day lunchbox jokes. If you want all 22, just head over to my shop on Etsy. (You'll find full sets of my other jokes there, too.)
If your kids don't take a sack lunch to school, these jokes work great slipped into a backpack or notebook, too!

I've created a video to show you how I prepare my lunchbox jokes. You'll see two different printing options. The free files are only available in pdf form, but the download from Etsy includes a pdf file and 4x6 jpg files (with two jokes to a page) that can be printed on photo paper for better print quality.
If a week of jokes just isn't enough for you, pop over to my Etsy shop to get all 22 jokes. I think the Paddy Long Legs joke is my favorite. Which will be yours?
Need more jokes? I combined all of my jokes from here and Etsy into one giant Mega Pack with 22o jokes! It includes 22 new jokes only included in the Mega Pack. Find it here.

Too cute! My kids are older, but I think they'd get a kick out of these. They'd call me cheesy, but still, I bet they'd laugh!

I love the idea of putting jokes in my son's lunch box, that is such a cute idea. My son is in Pre-K right now, but I think he would love a simple note with words he can read. I think this will help him read and recognize words. Great idea, thank you for sharing.
