    I Spy a Leprechaun!

Published: Jan 29, 2021 by Heidi. This post may contain affiliate links 18 Comments

Who needs some fun St Patricks Day activities? Last year I shared this cute St. Patrick's Day bingo game, and this year I have something new. If your kids love hidden object games, then they'll love Leprechaun I Spy! It's like the traditional I Spy game with a St. Patrick's Day focus. To play, kids count special items on the page and search for hidden objects. While counting things like shamrocks, rainbows, and pots of gold, they'll also search for a few of the leprechaun's hidden items.

Love this I Spy Leprechauns game! Fun and free is my favorite combination. {OneCreativeMommy.com} St. Patrick's Day activities #ispy #stpatricksday #game #leprechauns #printable

Free printable Leprechaun I Spy game

Leprechaun I Spy is such a simple activity to keep kids busy. The best part is that you don't need any special materials, and unlike other St. Patrick's Day activities, this one doesn't make a mess!

There are two versions to choose from. One is basic with kids only searching for items that match the picture. The other is a little more advanced, with kids counting objects that are more difficult to keep track of. You'll even find an answer key at the end of the free printable to make sure you don't miss anything.

I Spy Leprechauns is one of the cutest St. Patrick's Day activities for kids I've seen. Yay for free printables! {OneCreativeMommy.com} #ispy #stpatricksday #game #leprechauns #printable

Print St. Patrick's Day I Spy game

Ready to print? Just click the download button below to open the free printable. Then, print the file or save it to your computer to print later. Before you print the file, be sure to choose which game is right for your kids (the basic or more advanced game). You don't need to print the answer key on the last page. That's provided to make sure you don't miss anything.

    How to Play

Once you've downloaded and printed this fun game, cut the page in two (each printable has two games per page) and give the kids a marker or pen and a game board. To play, kids count the number of matching pictures they find from the "How many are there?" section, and record their answers on the lines. Next, they search for the three hidden items. Finally, if they're playing the advanced version, they should answer the final three questions.

Hint - It gets tricky trying to keep track of so many items. It's helpful to cross out items as you count them. Have fun!

The coolest St. Patrick's Day activities

I searched the web for more St. Patrick's Day activities you and your kids might enjoy, and I think I found some great ones! I'm seriously considering turning the faucet water green. I'd love to see the looks on my kids' faces!

    • Turn your faucet water green
    • Play St. Patrick's Day bingo
    • Transform your hair into shamrocks
    • Make shamrock pancakes
    • Build Leprechaun traps
    • Send fun St. Patrick's Day jokes to school in your kids' lunches
