Fast and Frugal Patriotic Wreath for the Fourth of July

Hi, everyone. Today you'll find me in two places at once. I'm sharing patriotic pinwheels on Pretty Providence, and I'm sharing a project I made with the pinwheels here. I created this patriotic wreath for the Fourth of July for about $4, and it was easy!

You'll find the directions for making a standard pinwheel on Pretty Providence. These pinwheels are made almost the same way, except I used brads instead of pins to keep the pinwheels together. Since these pinwheels aren't actually going to spin, the brads keep all the parts held tightly together so that they can easily be glued in place.

To make this wreath, you'll need:

• 1 grapevine wreath (I got mine at Joann Fabric with a 40% off coupon. I rarely pay full price at a craft store.)
• 4 mini pinwheels (download here)
• 1 large pinwheel (download here)
• hot glue
• 5 metal brads
• optional embellishments (I got my beaded embellishment ½ off at Joann Fabric)

Once you put together the pinwheels, the rest is super quick. Just lay the pinwheels on the wreath and move them around until you are happy with the way they overlap. Next, glue them in place with hot glue and add any extra embellishments you want.

That's it! In just a few minutes, you've got a quick patriotic wreath that's perfect to show your love of our awesome free country.
