    Subway Christmas Teacher Gift Idea

The Perfect Teacher Christmas Gift {Bring in Lunch on a Busy Day, and make it fun!} OneCreativeMommy.com

School's out!  Woot, woot!  (I seriously did a little dance in my classroom after school today!)  I've loved kindergarten, but I am so relieved to get back to normal life!  Teachers should get hazard pay for working the week before Christmas break!

I have to tell you about the best gift I got at school yesterday.  I know this is too late for you to use the idea this year, but I just had to share this thoughtful gift with you!

Yesterday, this is what a very kind mom brought me just before lunch.  (How she knew that I didn't have time to make lunch that morning, I'll never know!)  There's a giant candy bar hiding behind the sandwich.

I'm telling you, there is nothing better on a busy, crazy day, than getting a nice surprise lunch!  (And just a bonus that I happen to LOVE Subway sandwiches.) So, next time you are racking your brain trying to think of what to get your child's teacher for Christmas, why not surprise them with lunch?  I think I can pretty much guarantee that they will love it!  I have no idea where to find the cute Elf pants, but the "Elf Subway Sandwich" totally made my day!

Speaking of making someone's day . . . I hope you have a great one!  Thanks for stopping by!  While you're here, why not check out some of my other projects?

Very cute! I'm sure that parent heard wonderful things about you and wanted to express her appreciation. The next thing I think of is Elf on the Shelf dragging those elf pants home and trying them on for size!

thanks so much for sharing this clever idea and your enthusiasm for it! Teacher gifts are always a stumper, I think. I might have thought of something like this -- but would be afraid it wouldn't be well received. Hearing your reaction is just as important as the great idea!!! The elf suit is darling!

Thanks, Charlene. I can't speak for all teachers, but this gift was perfect for me! (I shared the idea with other teachers, and they thought it was great, too.)
