I have a fun Thanksgiving Kids Craft for you today. When I was a teacher, this was always one of our favorite fall activities. The kids loved disguising their turkeys to protect them from becoming part of Thanksgiving dinner. Try this in a classroom or at home while the kids are waiting for dinner. While you are preparing turkey with dressing, let the kids make dressed turkeys!
Below you'll see some of the original dressed turkeys that my children made when they were little. We didn't use a pattern. I printed some simple turkeys on construction paper, and the kids did the rest. They cut clothes out of wallpaper or construction paper scraps and glued them on. This is also the way my students created the turkeys.

This Thanksgiving craft can be as simple or as complex as you'd like. If your kids like to make things up themselves, give them the idea, and let them go to town! If they need a little more guidance, try my printables. I've created print and cut silhouette files and printable files that the kids can color and cut out themselves.
The files include a boy and girl turkey, feathers, and lots of clothing options! Kids can print and color their own turkey paper dolls, or parents can print them with a silhouette on fancy paper (pictured above). Have fun!
To download your Thanksgiving kids craft, click on the button below. When you recieve your download link, you will be given options for a zip file of the Silhouette cutting files or a pdf file for all the printables.
Thanks for stopping by today. While you're here, please check out some of my other ideas. Images below are linked.

what would the cost for about 30 to 40 kids be?
Heidi
Hi, Deb. This is a free printable, so the only cost would be for whatever materials you choose to use to decorate the turkeys. I usually used scraps. Have fun!

I’m sorry you didn’t receive your email. I just checked, and it was sent on Friday. It probably went to your spam/junk folder. I just sent it again.
