    Frozen Fever Snowgies Craft for Kids {Baby Snowmen}

Published: Jan 26, 2021 by Heidi. This post may contain affiliate links 16 Comments

When you think of spring, you probably don't think about snowmen . . . unless, of course, you have Frozen Fever! My girls and I were lucky enough to see Cinderella this weekend, and we fell in love with the baby snowmen {Snowgies} introduced in the new short before the film. Two minutes into the short, my wheels were spinning for a craft! I hope you love this adorable Frozen Fever Snowgies Craft as much as we do!

I know most of you probably haven't seen the movie yet, so I'll try not to give anything away. Let's just say that sneezing can be very dangerous when you have magical powers! We didn't want our Olaf to be lonely, so we made him lots of new friends.

You can find the original Olaf sock snowman tutorial here.

    Materials:

    • White 1.5 inch pom-poms
    • White .5 inch pom-poms
    • Black .12 inch pom-poms
    • Black felt (I used sticky-backed felt)
    • Glue (I used my new favorite Elmer's X-treme School Glue)
    • Scissors

    Directions:

    1. Glue the two largest pom-poms together, one on top of the other. (If one is larger than the other, put the largest pom-pom on top.) These are the body and head of the snowman.
    2. Glue the small white pom-poms to the front of the body of the snowman.
    3. Glue two tiny black pom-poms on the face as eyes.
    4. Cut a mouth from the felt and glue it on the face.

You're done! Easiest craft ever! Now go have fun with your creations. I have a feeling I'll be finding these little cuties all over the house for a long time!

how long did it take these to dry? I am thinking of doing this as our craft at the party but want to make sure they will be dry in time! Thanks

To be honest, I can't remember, Tiffany. Here's what I do if I have a craft that needs to dry at a party: I write the kids' names on small paper plates. I put each child's project on their own paper plate. When it's time to go home, they take their project home on the plate, and it can finish drying at home. Have fun!

These are adorable! I went to Michael's in search of those specific size pom poms and they don't carry 1.5inch and 0.12inch. I was wondering where did you buy yours?

It's been so long since I did this project, that I don't remember! I buy all my craft supplies at Michael, Joann's or Walmart. Since Walmart usually has fewer options than the other two, I bet I bought them at Joann's. I hope that helps.
