The Home Hub: A Simple Printable System to Organize Your Week

Published: Sep 30, 2026 by Heidi. This post may contain affiliate links Leave a Comment

Free Home Hub printable set with a weekly planner, meal planner, grocery list, cleaning checklist, family to-do list, and notes page.

Keeping a family organized can sometimes feel like a full-time job. There are appointments to remember, meals to plan, groceries to buy, things to clean, and a never-ending list of things that need to get done.

And somehow, all of that information ends up in different places.

That's why I created The Home Hub, a simple printable system designed to keep the things you need to remember all in one place.

You can print a fresh copy each week, turn it into a reusable binder, or even frame the pages to create a dry-erase family command center. There's no complicated system to learn. Just use the pages that are helpful to you and skip the ones that aren't.

What's Included in the Home Hub?

The Home Hub printable set includes six pages:

Weekly Planner: This is the main page and gives you a quick look at the whole week. There's space for what's happening each day, your dinner plan, a to-do list, a grocery list, and that one thing you absolutely cannot forget.

Meal Planner: If you like to plan more than just dinner, this page has space for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for every day of the week, plus an area for notes.

Grocery List: Keep your shopping list organized by produce, dairy, meat, pantry, frozen, and household items.

Cleaning Checklist: Create your own daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning routine. I left this one blank on purpose because every home and every schedule is different.

Family To-Do List: Give each person or category its own section and keep everyone's jobs and reminders together.

Notes: A simple dot-grid page for anything else you need to keep track of.

Three Easy Ways to Use Your Home Hub

One of my favorite things about his set is that you can use it ever it works best for you.

    1. Print a New Set Each Week

If you're a paper-and-pencil person, keep it simple. Print the pages you need at the beginning of the week and fill them out.

You don't even have to print all six pages every time. Maybe you use the Weekly Planner and Grocery List every week but only print a Cleaning Checklist when you want to reset your routine.

    2. Make a Reusable Home Hub Binder

Want to save paper? Print the pages once and slide them into clear page protectors in a binder.

Use fine-point dry-erase markers to fill everything in, then wipe the pages clean and start over the following week.

The binder also gives you a handy place to tuck school papers, schedules, menus, coupons, or anything else you need to keep track of.

    3. Make a Framed Dry-Erase Command Center

Framed weekly planner printable filled in with a blue dry-erase marker for organizing appointments, meals, tasks, and groceries.

I also created a version of the Home Hub with wider borders specifically for framing.

Print the pages you use most, put them in inexpensive frames, and write directly on the glass with fine-point dry-erase markers. Hang them together in the kitchen, mudroom, home office, or wherever your family is most likely to see them.

You can create a full command center with several pages or keep it really simple with just the Weekly Planner.

    Here's My Favorite Meal-Planning Trick

Before you toss a completed paper planner or erase a really good week from your reusable Home Hub, save it!

If you're using paper, keep your old meal plans in a binder. If you're using page protectors or framed pages, snap a quick photo before you erase them.

After a few months, you'll have your own collection of ready-made meal plans.

When you're staring at a blank Meal Planner and can't think of a single thing your family eats (why does that happen?), flip through your old plans or photos and reuse one.

You don't have to reinvent dinner every week!

Make the Home Hub Work for Your Family

The goal isn't to fill in every blank or suddenly become perfectly organized.

Use the pieces that make your life easier.

Maybe you need the full set. Maybe all you need is a weekly planner on the refrigerator. Maybe meal planning is your biggest headache, so you use the Meal Planner and Grocery List together. Or maybe the Family To-Do List is exactly what you need to stop being the only person who remembers everything that needs to get done.

Start with what would help you most, and build from there.
