Oh, my goodness! It's Friday already! I have been so busy planning a birthday party, working on a building project, and living life with all the kids home that time totally slipped away this week. That and the fact that my house is currently 86 degrees and climbing must have fried my brain! I was expecting the AC guy 2 hours ago, and I really hope he gets here soon! Thank goodness for fans.
Since I'm tired of thinking about how hot it is, I think I'll write about my "hot" internet finds for the week instead! It's time for . . .
Fantastic Finds Friday #2!
Every week, I find great ideas on the internet, and I'm excited to share some of them with you! If you like the ideas, too, please visit the bloggers and pin from their sites. I've linked to their posts under each image, and you can find the full details about their projects and recipes there.
Chalk Paint Coral Dresser Makeover from See Vanessa Craft
I absolutely love this dresser makeover from See Vanessa Craft. You definitely need to stop by her site to see the before picture. This dresser actually started as something similar to the furniture in my room as a kid, and ended up a modern and beautiful piece. Love it!
Please excuse me while I interrupt this post for a SQUEAL!!! There's an AC truck pulling up in front of my house right now! I can feel the cool air now! (Well, maybe not yet.)
5:00, and my downstairs is cool. Upstairs is still stifling, but at least there's an end in sight! Thanks to my super kind repairman, everything appears to be in working order, and I now have great ideas for a post about "What I Learned from the AC Repair Guy!

How to Print on Post-It Notes from Your Printer by Tatertots and Jello
If you read my blog much, you know that I love printables--especially if they involve motivating kids. I found this post on Tatertots and Jello today about printing on post-it notes on the printer. I can already envision the kid's motivational point cards printed on colorful post-it notes! Jen's offering a free printable, too.
Key Lime Frozen Yogurt Cups from Lemons for Lulu
Let's just pretend for a minute that I still bake things with gluten. If I did, I'd be trying this recipe for sure. I love anything key lime flavored, and a chocolate crust sounds delish! Maybe I could substitute gluten-free Oreo crumbs. Glutino makes some that taste just like the real thing. Be sure to stop by Lemons for Lulu for the recipe for this key lime goodness!
DIY Apple Pencil Holder from Smart School House
How cute is this pencil holder from Smart School House? Not only would this be a perfect Back-to-School gift, but it matches my a school-themed room in my house. (I never have shown pictures of the completed room. I'll add it to my to-do list! Be sure to check out Kelly's video tutorial.
Household Re-Purpose Water Balloon Pump from Find It, Make It, Love It
And finally, for anyone who has ever spent all day filling water balloons, you're going to love this post from Find It, Make It, Love It. Now your kids can fill them up all by themselves! I MUST try this one!
Thanks so much for stopping by! As promised, here's a little sneak peek at my DIY Kids' Lockers. I'm having a great time playing with power tools! Special thanks to my dad, who has been helping this beginner learn about building.
If the talk about Oreos got you craving some Oreo treats, be sure to try this one from my archives (the image is linked):

Thank you Heidi for sharing my key lim frozen yogurt cups! Perfect for the heatwave we've been having!
Heidi Fowler
They look so yummy, Tanya, that I just had to share! I'm going to figure out how to make them gluten free so they'll be safe for my GF kiddo.
Joyce
Great collection of nice ideas! I'm most interested in your locker project. I've always liked the way they look and I think kids would really enjoy their own space for just their own things. Not only will they minimize clutter, but I imagine your daughters would decorate their lockers - just like the high school girls do!
Heidi Fowler
I've been dying to make the lockers for a year. Right now, I don't know how to make doors, so they will be open. The decorating will have to wait until I learn more! I hope they enjoy their own space and are eager to put away their school stuff! I'm looking forward to less mess! Thanks for stopping by.
Brenna
Ok, so the water balloon thing is brilliant! Love it. I see some water fun in our future.
Heidi Fowler
I must admit that filling up water balloons is really low on the list of things I enjoy! My kids will love doing it themselves! Good luck. Have a good week, Brenna.
Melanie Hamilton
Thanks so much for sharing my water balloon pumps! Great job on your kids lockers-I need to get more power tool savvy! : )
Heidi Fowler
You're welcome, Melanie. I can't wait for my kids to fill up the balloons all by themselves! Thanks for the compliment on the lockers. I used a Kreg Jig, and it was soooo easy! I have never used power tools before. I think I'm going to be addicted. Now, if my schedule will just ease up so that I can finish them!
Winnie

Thanks, Winnie. They both sound great to me right now! Too bad it's 11 at night! I guess it's a little late for dessert!.
