Before I start this post, I want to say thank you to all the teachers who may be reading this. On Friday, I began substitute teaching for a Kindergarten teacher on maternity leave. My class is awesome, but I'm really feeling my age! Needless to say, I'm really tired! I'm a retired teacher, but I had forgotten just how much work goes into teaching--inside and outside of the classroom.
So, to all of you who work hard every day to take care of and train our children . . . . THANK YOU!!!!
Since I'm a little more busy than usual, I've invited several blogging friends to guest post here on One Creative Mommy. You can expect one post from me and one guest post every week for the next little while. I hope you enjoy the change of pace!
Now, on with the post!
Fall Leaf Silhouette Cutting File
Last year, I spent hours individually cutting fall leaf shapes for our family's annual thankful tree. It was tedious and extremely hard on the eyes and fingers! This year, that all changes. Now that I have a Silhouette, it's going to be easy to cut the leaves to add to our tree this year. I can't wait!
I thought you might enjoy the file as well. Click below to download your free Fall Leaf Cutting File for the Silhouette. I have included an svg and a studio file. If you don't have a Silhouette, check out my Thankful Tree Tutorial from last year to download a free printable that you can cut by hand.
I'd love to see what you do with the file. I'll be using it to add to our family Thankful Tree. (The link is at the beginning of the post.)
It would also work great to make a tree like this one by Simply Vintage Girl.
Have fun, and thanks for stopping by! Before you go, why not check out a few other ideas? (Images are linked.)

I really like this. What a great way to teach kids about being thankful. We all need a little more of that in our lives. I hope you have a nice, restful weekend. Thanks again for linking up on Tips and Tricks.

Thanks, Kathleen. Teaching kids about gratitude is so important, and this is a really fun way to do it.
